This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains what personal data BullishStation collects when you visit bullishstation.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés) and the guidelines and recommendations of the CNIL, the French data protection authority, on cookies and other trackers.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is the publisher of BullishStation (bullishstation.com). You can reach us at any time through our contact page; please write "Privacy" in your message so that it is handled first. Legal information about the publisher and the host is set out in our Terms of Use & Legal Notice.
2. A news publication, not an investment adviser
BullishStation is an independent news and analysis publication about crypto-assets, macroeconomics and geopolitics. Nothing published on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. We do not offer trading, portfolio management or personalised recommendations, and we therefore never ask for your financial information, wallet keys, seed phrases or bank details. Any message claiming to come from BullishStation and asking for such information is a scam. See the full disclaimer in our Terms of Use.

4. Cookies and similar trackers
Strictly necessary (no consent required)
- A session cookie and a security (anti-CSRF) cookie that make forms, comments and login work. They expire when you close your browser or shortly after.
- Your cookie choice and your display preferences (for example dark mode), stored in your browser's local storage.
Audience measurement (consent required)
- Google Analytics 4 cookies
_gaand_ga_XG60WQ5JNK, provided by Google Ireland Limited. They are set only after you click "Accept". We configured Google Analytics with IP anonymisation, Google signals and advertising personalisation turned off, and a cookie lifetime capped at 13 months that is not extended by new visits.
No advertising or social-media tracking
We do not use advertising cookies or social-media tracking pixels. Our share buttons are plain links that send nothing to social networks until you click them. Partner and affiliate banners (for example for a crypto exchange) are images hosted on our own server: no data is sent to the partner unless you click on them, and once you are on the partner's website, its own privacy policy applies. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
How to accept, decline or change your mind
On your first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline audience measurement. Both buttons are equally visible, and declining has no effect on your access to our articles. Your choice is kept for 6 months. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, or right here: open cookie settings. If you withdraw your consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted from your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
5. Who receives your data
Your data is used only by the BullishStation team. It is also processed, on our instructions only, by our technical providers:
- Namecheap, Inc. (website hosting and server logs);
- Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (Google Analytics, only if you accepted);
- our email sending provider (newsletter and replies to your messages).
We may also disclose data when required by law or by a court order.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our providers, including Google and Namecheap, are based in the United States. These transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision of July 10, 2023 (EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework) for certified companies or, failing that, on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and French law, you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to its processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before;
- give instructions about what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to us through our contact page. We reply within one month. If we have a reasonable doubt about your identity, we may ask you for additional information.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL: 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or online at cnil.fr.
8. Security
The website is served over HTTPS only. Passwords are stored encrypted, access to the administration area is restricted, and the website is backed up regularly.
9. Children
BullishStation is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 15, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when we add a new service. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change requires your consent, we will ask for it again.
